About our services
The Department of Pharmacy Services at UMass Memorial is comprised of more than 150 employees, including managers, clinical specialists, clinical pharmacists, technicians, students, residents, fellows, and support staff. Every team member is committed to making a positive difference in patient care by practicing safe and effective drug use. Pharmacy services are provided 24-hours per day on both Memorial and University Campuses. The Department of Pharmacy is a regionally and nationally recognized service as the winner of the Institute of Safe Medication Practices (ISMP) Cheers Award (2008), the Massachusetts Society of Health-System Pharmacists (MSHP) - Health System Pharmacy of the Year Award (2008), and the prestigious Betsey Lehman Patient Safety Award (2006).
