Department of Pharmacy

The Department of Pharmacy Services is comprised of more than 75 full-time employees, including managers, clinical specialist, pharmacists, technicians, students, residents, fellows, and support staff.  Every team member is committed to making a positive difference in patient care by practicing safe and effective drug use.

Pharmacy services are provided 24-hours per day. Pharmacy practice residents provide in-house, 24-hour on-call drug information, toxicology, and anticoagulation services. 

The ambulatory clinic pharmacy is responsible for providing indigent care prescriptions and investigational drugs with over 200 open protocols. 

In January 2007, we opened a professional prescription center to service outpatients and employees.  It is a fully automated state of the art facility specially designed for patient consultation offering a wide range of services tailored to our community.
