ASHP Medication Safety Team Grant Open

The American Society of Health-System Pharmacists Foundation's Medication Safety Team Grant Program is now accepting applications for the Medication Safety Team Grant. The program supports and the grant program must involve research related to the use of barcode scanning technology at the point of medication administration to enhance the safe use of medications. This program will be available to research teams composed of a combination of pharmacists, nurse practitioners, physicians or informatics experts. The research teams must include a pharmacist as a co-principal investigator. Two $40,000 grants will be awarded. The deadline to submit completed applications is April 1.
