Fellow Recognition

Fellow of the American Society of Medication Safety Officers (FSMSO)

Being a Fellow of the American Society of Medication Safety Officers (FSMSO) signifies that you have achieved expert level experience in the practice of medication safety.

To be recognized as a Fellow in ASMSO, an Active Member must earn at least 100 Fellow points every five years. These points are earned in 10 different categories as shown on the application.

If you are interested in being recognized as a professional who has met the highest standards in the field of medication safety, please review the 10 categories for Fellowship status. As you earn points within the different categories, fill them in. There is a limit to the number of points one can obtain in each category. Thus, qualified Fellows must demonstrate a balance between practice duties, professional experience, and involvement in the society. As soon as you have earned a total of 100 points, complete the application, and send it along with the application fee. If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to contact the Professional Development Committee of ASMSO at certification@asmso.org.

Stand out. Be recognized. You've earned it!

Application materials will be available in early 2010.
